The Ultimate in Oakland Raider's Tailgating
Raider nation one Team

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting the Raider Nation One website. We are the creators of the Raider Nation One Tailgate Trailer. My father Leonard (on the right) and myself, Travis (on the left), formulated and designed all aspects of the Raider Nation One Taigate trailer.
In 2007 we decided to become Oakland Raider season tickets holders. We were both life long Raider fans and it only made sense to take the next step in our support of the Raiders. We started the 2007 season using my wife's Yukon XL and setup a 42" plasma screen equipped with HDTV and Bose surround sound. The setup was mediocre to professional and was a very enjoyable season (at least tailgating).
When last season ended we made it a goal to have an RV and an entourage of flags. From the final home game of the season we sketched and searched for what we would consider the perfect tailgate RV. Then one day after weeks of searching we decided to shift our search for a toy hauler or a trailer we can pull for fear that the RV would break down. At this point we were on a budget and were looking for something late model and used. After a few more days of searching we realized that we would have to spend more than what we anticipated to find what we really wanted in an RV or Toy Hauler Trailer.
Finally in late February we formulated a plan to purchase an empty cargo trailer and do all the upgrades ourselves. The search continued and weeks went by and we were still searching for that perfect USED cargo trailer. Once again our ideas got rattled and we decided to price and order a brand new cargo tailer with all the structural upgrades we needed.
We ordered it from the fine folks at CARGOTRAILERSUSA.COM in mid April. They were helpful and above all the deal was right. We ordered the trailer as a 16'x 8.5' JR CAR HAULER, upgrades included an extra 12" to the height, a 8'x 5' concession door and a reinforced roof so we could stand on it. For the record I didn't know an extra 12" of height was so much. The day came for us to pick the trailer up. We picked the trailer up in the town of Dallas, Oregon (about 600 miles away from our home town of Manteca, California). It was a long drive. Ten hours up and seventeen hours back (we made some stops).
Almost as soon as we recovered from the long road trip we got to work. Everything from paneling the walls to cabinetry and a refrigerator. It took us nearly the full three months to complete the trailer and get it to its current state. At least for this season we are done with all the upgrades we are going to do. Knowing my father and I we are satisfied with the progress of the trailer now, but that 7 month off season will mean more upgrades for RAIDER NATION ONE.
